1. In your blog you can place news, multimedia presentations, video, links to Web resources, and much more. The materials will be available for the students both at school and at home.

2. A blog allows you to organize online discussion. Comment on materials enables students to become participants in academic discussion and helps them to develop the communication skills necessary for modern man to communicate in the Internet space.

The main problem that arises today in using blogs is the low activity of students. The analysis of a number of educational blogs shows a small amount or even the absence of comments from students.

What are the causes of this situation?

- lack of strong motivation, requirements (especially fairly new) form of learning.

- lack or weak development of schoolchildren's abilities. The disciples, accustomed to the format of the lesson "from start to finish" more often than not can arrange independent work with the learning material at home.

- not enough attention is paid to formation of such competences as ability to work with diverse information. As a result students get accustomed to mostly "finished product", sometimes experience serious difficulties in dealing with a large volume of information provided by the global network.

- a lot of students do not have the necessary skills to work in the Internet
